The Dunbar Carver Museum in Brownsville, Tennessee preserves the history of African American education and community life in Haywood County. Located at the historic Carver High School site, the museum interprets the legacy of the Brownsville Colored Normal School, Dunbar School, Haywood County Training School, and Carver High School from the 1880s through desegregation in 1970.
