Dunbar Carver Museum – African American History in Brownsville, Tennessee
The Dunbar Carver Museum is a historic community museum preserving the African American heritage of Haywood County and West Tennessee. Located in Brownsville, the museum stands on the historic campus where Carver High School, Dunbar School, and Haywood County Training School once educated generations of African American students during the era of segregation.
