Support the Dunbar Carver Museum

The Dunbar Carver Museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of African American education, culture, and community life in Brownsville and Haywood County. Located on the historic campus that once housed Dunbar School, Haywood County Training School, and Carver High School, the museum serves as a place where the stories of generations past are preserved and shared with future generations.

As a community-based museum, our work depends on the generosity of supporters who believe in the importance of protecting local history. Donations help us preserve historic photographs and documents, expand exhibits, maintain the museum facility, and provide educational programs for students, researchers, and visitors.

Every contribution—large or small—helps ensure that the history of this community and the legacy of the schools that once stood here will not be forgotten.

Your support helps the Dunbar Carver Museum continue its mission to educate, inspire, and preserve the stories of the people who shaped the history of Haywood County.

We invite you to join us in keeping this history alive.

Thank you for supporting the Dunbar Carver Museum.
