In addition to average college tuition between $10 to $13 thousand dollars per year, textbooks add an additional financial burden of approximately $1200.00 per year.

Book scholarships are more than just financial aid; they are an investment in a student’s future. By alleviating the cost of textbooks, these scholarships enable students to focus on their education and achieve their academic goals.
Through the support of a generous donor the Dunbar Carver Museum is proud to award the first annual book scholarship to a deserving student from Haywood County.
